Dota 2 matchmaking hell
There is really no players who got, dont know, above wins? Now I could be totally wrong here, so apologies in advance if someone corrects me. Because he was so much better than the people he was being matched up against on a level account, it was obvious he was going to fly through the ranks.

What this does mean, is that someone, like myself, who played dota for years can jump into this game with only really an adjustment to the interface and be instantly better than most of the people at my level. That Robo guy played Shadow Shaman, a pusher, and we managed to get all 3 tier 1 towers first, mid game. In my experience, at first, solo MM queue times were no different from regular MM queue times. Luckily, we have a test case for this as well. M8, your team was losing like the whole time.

The obsession with win rate is really dumb though. Juice recounted that many of the mistakes that players make at the and levels are widespread, and while many players express frustration at how their teammates play, he noted that more often than not those same mistakes happened on the opposing team as well. Again, complaining about getting matched with player who have a lower battle-level is utterly pointless as it is in no way, shape or form an indicator of the players actual skill rating.
The Trench comes up endlessly on any Dota 2 forum or thread. He singlehandedly won games for his team. I am saying that winrate doesn't show your skill.

The matchmaking will attempt to match you with players who share a relatively close MMR.

Some people can play this game for years and still be relatively terrible at it. The number of matches won is what counts.

However, Dota2 has the unique situation of being an almost identical clone of it's former.
