Anyway, I really like the sound I now get, so I'm happy with it. The front, or main, speakers provide off-screen effects and carry all the stereo soundtrack information as well as the background environments.

I don't want to have the surround sound on all the time. They connect to the back of the receiver using 18 gauge wire that can directly attach as a pair of wires to the speaker and either that way or using a "banana" 4 mm jack on the other end.
